Public Speaking

I am available for public speaking engagements. I will tackle any
topic I feel competent to tackle, which includes abuse issues from most
perspectives.(Payment preferred - $100 for 3-hour maximum - but not essential)
I don't have a list of topics because the range of possibilities is so great.
The most common format I follow is to spend 10-20mins speaking about the content of the book and what I hope will be achieved through it and the website, followed by a question and discussion time. If a topic is requested I would make it the focus around which the rest of the talk rotates. I have found that many people have questions, so allowing at least an hour for the meeting is realistic.
While my preference is for interactive settings where the audience can ask questions, and clarify issues about which I've spoken, I am flexible enough to fit into any format. Feel free to run your ideas about length and content by me to see what I can offer.
For example, I have spoken at a Craft Morning, beginning with a short talk and the rest of the morning was taken up with questions and discussion.
In Townsville, I spoke to a Door of Hope Recovery Group.
Also in Nth Qld, I talked to several groups of Counselling Course students.
